Hi I'm Royce, welcome to my website!​

I'm an experimental physicist in the Department of Applied Physics at Yale University. Generally speaking, my research interest lies in the cross-field of laser optics, phonon physics, and quantum hybrid systems.   

 

I was born and grew up in China. I lived in Tokyo for two years before moving to the US as a Yale PhD student in Applied Physics. When I'm not doing physics, I enjoy classical music and Argentine tango, I'm also a long-time badminton player.
